Following their graduation as DPLG Architects in 1997 at the École d’Architecture Languedoc-Roussilon of Montpellier (France), both partners has been working in major Mauritius-based Architects’ offices on important projects such as:
Beau Rivage Hotel, Legends Hotel, Follies Island Resort, Sofitel Imperial Extensions, Delphis Bank extension, Club Med Pointe aux Canonniers Extensions, Le Preskil Hotel and Club Med Albion Resort. The experience acquired on the above mentioned fast track projects has been very fruitful and did provide a broad base knowledge of the local construction conditions to our two partners.
G+F Architects undertakes a broad range of project types and has acquired a solid reputation for its work in coastal luxury villas. Our projects, diverse in scale and type, demonstrate our skills in providing comprehensive architectural services, always working within cost and time constraints.
Our practice operates within an open plan studio, providing a dynamic environment encouraging the easy exchange of information and design views. Our office building is representative of the firm’s approach to use of materials and texture as well as cost effectiveness.
The core approach of our practice places emphasis on fine detailing of each project’s component for an accurate budget control from the concept stage to the construction and completion.
