Palmyre residence is set into the hillside of Petite Rivière Noire, where Le Morne mountain, the valleys, and the sea compose every view.

Conceived around its owner's deep connection to Africa, the house embraces a rugged yet refined aesthetic. Raw concrete, natural stone, weathered timber: materials that speak without restraint. Interlocking volumes step with the terrain, opening generously toward the landscape while remaining anchored to the earth.

At the heart of the house, the pool aligns with the axis of the staircase's double-height volume, drawing light through skylights and framing a direct view toward Le Morne. Self-sufficient by design, Palmyre draws its character from the land it inhabits: wild, grounded, and entirely its own.
