The Alfa project
ALFA ROMEO BRERA – THE CONCEPT
When the Brera was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2002, it left a lasting impression. Giorgetto Giugiaro crafted an unconventional design that boldly defied the norms of its time. Jeremy Clarkson even described it as "the best-looking car money can buy." The car received widespread acclaim and numerous awards, including the prestigious "Most Beautiful Car in the World" at the 21st annual International Automobile Festival in 2006. In response to its success, Alfa Romeo soon announced plans for production.
The name 'Brera' is inspired by the Brera district in Milan, renowned for its artistic heritage.

THIS ISN'T A BUILDING PROJECT
At G+F, our passion for design extends beyond architecture. Some of us have a keen eye for art, watches, boats, bicycles, and, of course, cars. In May 2023, we purchased our 2007 Brera 2.2 JTS, one of 2 in Mauritius, which was in poor condition. After many hours of online research and shopping, we embarked on a refurbishment journey with the help of Carfit Services among others. While there are always small details to address, the car now looks absolutely stunning.
The Brera appeals to us for its distinctive proportions, timeless design, and strong identity, principles that resonate deeply with the way we approach architectural design.
